CPD: A new, all-way stop sign at the intersection of Forest Avenue and Hatfield Street will create a different traffic pattern in the area.

CALDWELL, NJ — A recently installed, all-way stop sign at the intersection of Forest Avenue and Hatfield Street will create a new traffic pattern in the area, according to the Caldwell Police Department.
The CPD issued the below advisory about the new stop sign. Keep updated with local public safety alerts at the Patch Caldwells Facebook page here.
“On August 21, the Borough of Caldwell approved and adopted the installation of STOP signs on Forest Avenue at the intersection of Hatfield Street which created an ALL-WAY STOP intersection. The Borough and the Caldwell Police Department would like to inform our residents and the motoring public that the STOP signs and pavement markings are in place. We would like to advise all motorists to please be extra vigilant when traveling on Forest Avenue approaching this intersection. We understand this traffic pattern is new to all and will have police officers monitoring the intersection to educate motorists regarding the ALL-WAY STOP. The Borough of Caldwell and the Caldwell Police Department thank you for your anticipated cooperation regarding this matter and urge everyone to be patient as we all get used to this new traffic pattern.”
