Banner Stolen From Caldwell Town Green; Cops Search For Suspect

The Caldwell Police Department is investigating the theft of a banner from the Caldwell Borough Green.

CALDWELL, NJ — The Caldwell Police Department is investigating the theft of a banner from the Caldwell Borough Green, authorities announced Monday.

According to Caldwell police, the theft took place around 9:30 p.m. on July 9.

Police are seeking a male suspect, who was seen walking east on Bloomfield Avenue, committing the theft on the Caldwell Green, then leaving on foot southbound on Roseland Avenue.

Police described the suspect as a white male about 50 to 60 years of age. He is 6 feet with a medium to large build and gray hair (see above photos).
