Caldwell Artist to Display Photography at Roseland Library

Exhibit Raises Awareness of Feral Cats

"LOVE...and the Cats Meow," an exhibit of photography by Joanne Zascone of Caldwell will be on display in the Roseland Free Public Library community room starting Thursday, February 7, through Friday, March 15. Meet the artist during a special reception on Saturday, February 16, between 2 and 4 pm and learn more about her passion for raising awareness about the well-being of feral and homeless cats. Light refreshments will be served. Zascone, who considers herself an amateur photographer, became interested in photography when she was given a Brownie camera at the age of 8. She also learned how to develop prints in a darkroom in the basement of her childhood home. To this day, she only works with traditional film cameras. Exhibit is open for viewing during regular library hours (Monday-Thursday 9 am-9 pm; Fridays 9 am-5 pm; Saturdays 10 am-3 pm). RSVP for the reception here: http://www.eventkeeper.com/cod...
Please note: Guests at the reception on February 16 will be able to take part in a guessing game with a drawing to win one of Zascone's prints!
