Caldwell Coronavirus Cases Up 3 Percent In 1 Week

CALDWELL, NJ — Caldwell's coronavirus case count continues to rise, according to statistics released Friday.

Essex County released its latest case and death totals on Jan. 15, including data for Caldwell. The county noted that its daily report may not match state or municipal totals (here's why).

Caldwell has seen 344 cumulative COVID-19 cases, a 2.99 percent increase since last week. There have been 12 deaths linked to the disease in the borough, which has 7,941 residents, according to the most recent estimate from the U.S. Census.
