Caldwell Library Collects Used Cell Phones For Soldiers
"Especially on days like Memorial Day, we like to remind people we are collecting used cell phones for this wonderful organization."
CALDWELL, NJ — As the Memorial Day approaches in the Caldwells, a local library is reminding residents that they can help military members stay in touch with their loved ones – all they need is a cell phone they don’t want any more.
On Wednesday, the Caldwell Public Library posted a message on social media about its ongoing collection for Cell Phones For Soldiers, an organization that recycles donated cell phones for U.S. troops.
“Especially on days like Veteran's Day and Memorial Day, we like to remind people that we are continuing to collect used cell phones for this wonderful organization,” the library stated, adding that its collection is taking place “year-round.”
