Caldwell Library To Host ‘Maker Day’ Event
The Caldwell Library event on March 10 will include "maker" stations set up around the building.

CALDWELL, NJ — The maker movement in the United States is more than just a hobby. Find out how much more during an event at the Caldwell Public Library on Saturday, March 10.
The Caldwell Library event is being held in conjunction with New Jersey Makers Day 2018, a statewide celebration of “making and maker culture” that takes place every March in the Garden State.

“Maker stations will be set up around the library from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Some of the activities include perler bead emojis, small photo books, rainbow looms, origami, and mini robots. Build and paint a butterfly house from 11 to 11:30 a.m., while supplies last. There will be an Elephant Toothpaste demonstration at noon and a pneumatics device demonstration at 2 p.m.”
“We are ecstatic to be able to bring this type of programming to the Caldwell community,” Caldwell Library Director Claudine Pascale said. “We are committed to finding ways to help people to learn new skills and to work collaboratively on exciting hands-on projects.”
