Caldwell Milling Work Will Limit Access For Residents: Police

Milling work is slated to start on Roseland Avenue in Caldwell on June 18. It may limit access for residents in the area after 7 p.m.

CALDWELL, NJ — Milling work is slated to start on Roseland Avenue in Caldwell on Monday, June 18. The work, which is expected to last until Wednesday, June 20, will take place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. and will close the street, authorities said.

The work is expected to limit access for residents in the area after 7 p.m., Caldwell officials said.

The Caldwell Police Department issued the following advisory about the milling work:

“Milling will occur on Monday, June 18, through Wednesday, June 20 from 7 p.m. to approximately 6 a.m. on Roseland Avenue from Eagle Rock Avenue in Roseland to Westville Avenue. Detours will be in place throughout the milling process and officers will be available to assist as needed. After 7 p.m., access to your residence and Roseland Avenue will be very limited if not restricted. We kindly ask that you make any arrangements necessary to not interfere with the construction work. Caldwell residents will be affected on Tuesday and Wednesday. Overnight parking will be allowed on all side streets surrounding Roseland Avenue for the nights during construction if you need to venture out before 6 a.m. (i.e. Oak Grove Road, Westville Avenue, Parkway East and West) Any questions or concerns, please contact the Caldwell Police Department at (973) 226-2600.”
