Caldwell University Sets Early Closing Due to Storm

Caldwell University will close at 1 p.m. and remain closed on Tuesday.

Essex County College, which operates campuses in West Caldwell and Newark, closed at 1 p.m. The school will update its scheduled tomorrow at 5 a.m.

Bloomfield College has cancelled all classes as of noon today and will remain closed on Tuesday.

Montclair State University remains open, but will provide an update at noon. A 7:30 p.m. media panel entitled ‘Tracking Chris Christie’ has been postponed until further notice.

Rutgers University Newark, as well as all other Rutgers campuses, announced an emergency closure starting at 4 p.m. Monday until 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Non-essential employees are being asked to remain home, but essential employees are being asked to report to work.

New Jersey Institute of Technology, in Newark, has cancelled classes from 4 p.m. today and all day Tuesday.
