In Caldwell: Water Main Work, Construction On Welshman Court

Welshman Court in Caldwell will be closed to vehicular traffic from Wakefield Place to Miller Street during the construction.

CALDWELL, NJ — Water main work and construction will cause temporary closures and parking changes on Welshman Court in Caldwell for roughly two weeks, authorities said.

The Caldwell Police Department released an advisory about the upcoming work:

“Construction is currently scheduled to begin on Welshman Court on Friday, April 30 and will continue through May 14 between Wakefield Place and Miller Street. Except for emergencies, all work on Welshman Court will be performed between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, weather permitting. Depending upon conditions, some work may be required on Saturdays. No parking will be allowed on Welshman Court during the aforementioned time period and area of operation when construction work is operational (between Wakefield Place and Miller Street).”

“Welshman Court will be closed to vehicular traffic from Wakefield Place to Miller Street during the construction. If you need to leave your residence during the construction, please do so before 7 a.m. Construction will start at Miller Street and continue down Welshman Court to Wakefield Place. Residents on Welshman Court can park their vehicles on Miller Street and Wakefield Place if you need to leave your residence after 7 a.m. All night parking will not be enforced in this area during the construction. Construction equipment and material will be stored on Welshman Court. You will have uninterrupted night and weekend access to your homes and driveways.
