Caldwells Obitutary: Mary Ann Graessle

West Caldwell resident Mary Ann Graessle passed away on Sept. 17.

She was 79-years-old.

The following obituary comes courtesy of Farmer Funeral Home:

“Mary Ann Graessle (Armento), 79, of West Caldwell, passed away on September 17, 2015.

“Born and raised in Newark and settled in West Caldwell in 1963. Mrs. Graessle was a teacher for the West Orange Middle School for 27 years, retiring in 1996. She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Roseland and also a member of the Friendly Solos. In her spare time, she was an avid bridge player.

“Beloved wife of the late Rolin Graessle. Devoted mother of Gary Graessle and his wife Sandra. Cherished grandmother of Lauren Graessle, Matthew Graessle and the late Benjamin Graessle (2012.) Loving sister of Patricia Funicelli and her husband Nicholas and the late Michael Armento. Loving aunt to Jennifer Ramos and her husband Terry and Christopher Funicelli and his wife Tamasha.

“In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to American Diabetes Association, 1160 U.S. 22 #103 Bridgewater, NJ 08807.”
