Coronavirus Deaths At West Caldwell Retirement Home: Report

Several people died from COVID-19 complications at a retirement home in West Caldwell, a report says.

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — Several people recently died from the new coronavirus at a retirement home in West Caldwell, a report says.

As of Friday, six patients have died from complications related to COVID-19 at Crane’s Mill in West Caldwell, which also provides assisted living services. There were 24 cases of patients with the disease, NJ.com reported.

Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey, which operates Crane’s Mill, told NJ Advance Media that the facility is experiencing an outbreak among residents, but declined to say if any employees at the West Caldwell facility have contracted the virus. (Read the full article)
