North Caldwell police are asking for renewed vigilance amid a recent uptick in daytime car thefts.
NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — North Caldwell police are asking for renewed vigilance amid a recent uptick in car thefts.
The North Caldwell Police Department recently released a community alert about the issue:
“The North Caldwell Police have seen a great increase of car thefts specifically during daytime hours. Please lock, remove key fobs and any belongings from your vehicle. If you see anything suspicious, please report it to police headquarters at 973-226-0800.”
It hasn’t been the first time that local police have asked for residents to stay sharp when it comes to locking their car doors and removing their keys. A similar warning was issued in May.
