Come take a trip to the Greek islands for a romantic wedding and sing along to some of your favorite Abba songs when James Caldwell High School presents Mamma Mia! as this year’s annual spring musical theatre production from March 21 to 24.

All shows are taking place in the Center for the Performing Arts at James Caldwell High School at 265 Westville Avenue. From March 21 to 23, the shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and on March 24, the show starts at 2 p.m.

Admission is $10. Tickets are available through https://www.showtix4u.com or at the door. For Thursday’s performance only, senior citizens can attend for $5 per ticket.

Mamma Mia! Is based on the book (script ) by Catherine Johnson, originally conceived by Judy Craymer, with Music & Lyrics by Benny Andersson & Bjorn Ulvaeus. It’s a musical for all ages.

This pop and rock musical production features a powerhouse cast of 80 local high school students – including 40 cast members, 30 stage crew volunteers and a pit orchestra of 10. The production features bright 90’s-style clothing, beautiful sets and live music.

Mamma Mia! Is a “Jukebox Musical” designed around iconic Abba songs. The plot centers around Sophie, who is getting married. She finds her single mom’s diary and within the pages, learns about three men who could be her dad. She invites them to her wedding without her mom knowing and shenanigans ensue.

Greg Paradis is the show’s Director/Musical Director. Daniel Mullins is the Orchestra Director and Mariel Letourneau is the Choreographer.
