Kids Bike Race Set To Kick Off In North Caldwell

Got a young Speed Racer at home ready to test their mettle against other Caldwell area kids?

The 6th Annual Hilltop Grasshopper Kids Bike Race is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 15, at Hilltop Reservation in North Caldwell.

The competition is open to kids in kindergarten to 8th grades.

Participants must pay a $10 registration fee and sign a waiver, and the participant’s bicycle must pass a technical inspection. A parent or guardian must be present to sign waiver and must be present during the race.

Registration and inspection opens at 7:30 a.m., and closes 15 minutes before start of each age bracket.

Awards will be given to the top finishers.
