Letter to the Editor: Thanks to Michael Cerino from Public School Foundation

Michael Cerino, CEO of DeCozen Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge Dealership in Verona pledged to donate $200 to the Caldwell/West Caldwell Education Foundation for each automobile a resident of Caldwell or West Caldwell purchased.

Dear Editor:

From March through May of this year, Michael Cerino, CEO of DeCozen Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge Dealership in Verona pledged to donate $200 to the Caldwell/West Caldwell Education Foundation (CWCEF) for each automobile a resident of Caldwell or West Caldwell purchased at the dealership. True to his word, Mr. Cerino donated $2,000 to the CWCEF. As the former chairperson and current trustee of the CWCEF I extend a sincere thank you to Mr. Cerino  and the Caldwell/West Caldwell residents who purchased one of DeCozen’s automobiles.

This $2,000 donation will make a difference in the lives of the students enrolled in the Caldwell West Caldwell School District and clearly signals to them that DeCozen Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge Dealership and those residents who purchased a car from this dealership believe in them to make the most of their educational experience. It tells the district administrators and staff that they support their efforts to enhance the educational opportunities that are offered to the students and it is also a remarkable vote of confidence in the CWCEF organization and its mission.
