​Mandelbaum Salsburg's Lynne Strober Recognized by National Law Journal as a "Family Law Trailblazer"

ROSELAND, N.J. -- Mandelbaum Salsburg P.C. is pleased to announce that member Lynne Strober, Co-Chair of the Firm’s Matrimonial and Family Law practice group, was recently named a Family Law Trailblazer by the National Law Journal. As a result of a very selective process 14 family law attorneys in the country received this award for 2019.

This renowned distinction recognizes attorneys who have served as leaders in the family law practice, offering innovative guidance and making an impact in family law.

As a Shareholder of Mandelbaum Salsburg P.C. and Co-Chair of the Family Law Department, Lynne has been practicing family law for over 40 years handing all aspects.

“I’m honored to receive this prestigious distinction and believe that individuals going through divorce need the best legal protection possible – both by the laws impacting divorce and the representation provided”. Lynne shared.

As Chair of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association she was instrumental in implementing the prevention of domestic violence laws in New Jersey. Active in multiple statewide family law committees throughout her time practicing she has been involved, in among things, the implementation of educational programs presented by the Courts to parents in divorce, the development of Court Rules impacting the family law practice and on addressing issues facing the family law practice to enhance the way the divorce process operates in New Jersey.

Lynne has written on numerous articles on various family law topics. In March 2018 Lynne co-authored a preeminent piece on valuing intellectual property assets in divorce. Family Law Judges reference her recent article on the tax code changes and their effect on family law cases.

Early on, Lynne worked on the establishment of the Early Settlement Panels in Essex County, a volunteer program that assigns attorneys to assist in settling family law matters. She helped establish this program throughout the State of New Jersey.

As Chair of the Supreme Court of New Jersey Matrimonial Certification Committee and a member of the Supreme Court of New Jersey Board on Attorney Certification for 10 years, she oversaw the certification of New Jersey attorneys. The Chief Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court appointed her to these positions.

Lynne has also been the Chair of the Essex County Bar Association Family Law Section Executive Committee.

While President of the Barry Croland Family Law American Inn of Court she helped plan and present 16 seminars to attorneys and judges; she is currently on the Inn Board and with the board members plan the syllabus for the Inn.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers; NJ Chapter.
