New Jersey Softball Pitcher’s 3rd Perfect Game Helps Team Capture Title
There's something to be said about the excellence of a softball player when throwing a perfect game becomes routine.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — There’s something to be said about the excellence of a softball player – and the teammates that stand at her side – when throwing a perfect game becomes a routine.
On Sunday, the Cedar Grove Panthers' Mia Faieta threw her third perfect game of the season at Kean University, helping her team to a 4-0 victory over Metuchen that captured the Group 1 title.
Faieta struck out 13 batters during Sunday’s game, a statistic that would set the bar for many other pitchers, but which represented just over half of the strikeouts she nailed down during an eye-popping performance earlier this week.
