“At this meeting, the board will discuss, among other items, the possibility of moving to all-remote instruction for the two weeks following winter break. This issue was raised at the last board meeting, but the decision was delayed until the upcoming meeting so that the board could receive more data and community feedback.”

The board of education continued:

“As always, the December 15 meeting will have a public recognition portion at which community members will have an opportunity to address the board on this and other issues. At that time, you will be able to comment live using the Zoom platform. Alternatively, you can submit your comment in advance by emailing it to the Business Administrator/Board Secretary at mhalik@ncboe.org. If you submit your comment in advance, please make sure you provide your name and address as both are required for public comment; we cannot take anonymous public comments. All comments should be submitted by 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 15.”
