Surprise 'Zoom Birthday Party' For Woman, 101, In West Caldwell
An "all-around lovely person" who lives at a retirement community in West Caldwell celebrated her 101st birthday in the age of COVID-19.

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — An “all-around lovely person” who lives at a retirement community in West Caldwell recently celebrated turning 101 with a surprise “Zoom birthday party” and a special proclamation from the mayor.
Peg Pomorski, a longtime resident at the Crane's Mill senior living community, was greeted on her big day with a special Zoom party from her family and a special proclamation from West Caldwell Mayor Joseph Tempesta Jr.
Crane's Mill Health Center Administrator McIntosh Thervil delivered the proclamation to Pomorski, who is known among residents and staff for being a “kindhearted, spirited and all-around lovely person.”

“We are grateful that she calls Crane's Mill her home, we love spending time with her, and we wish her all the best for a fantastic year ahead,” spokespeople said.
