Water Turned Off After Large Main Break In North Caldwell
North Caldwell PD: "Thank you for your patience and thanks to our DPW for braving the cold to fix this issue right away."
NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — A large water main break took place in North Caldwell on Friday, authorities reported.
The North Caldwell Police Department released the following advisory at 8:33 a.m.:
“There is a large water main break in the area of 24 Brookside Terrace. The water will need to be turned off, affecting approximately 15 homes directly. If you live in the area and are experiencing low or no water pressure, please understand we are working as quickly as possible to restore service.”

“Once complete there may be brown or tinted water coming from the faucets. Please run the water a few minutes and it will clear up. Thank you for your patience and thanks to our DPW for braving the cold to fix this issue right away.”
