West Caldwell Police Thank Local Cops With Military Backgrounds
For Veterans Day 2019, the West Caldwell Police Department offered a "thank you" to some local officers with military backgrounds.
WEST CALDWELL, NJ — In advance of Veterans Day 2019, the West Caldwell Police Department recently offered a big “thank you” to four local officers with military backgrounds.
“Whether serving during times of war or peace the officers of the West Caldwell Police Department are extremely grateful to all of the men and women of the armed forces who have served our great nation,” the WCPD wrote on social media.

- Dsg. Declan Beere - US Army
- Sgt. Michael Orr - Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps 1998-2004, Assigned to G. Company 2/25 Marines, Deployed to Iraq 2003
- Ptl. Robert Redmerski - Sergeant in the US Army (2011-2014), Assigned to the Army’s 2nd Infantry Division and 10th Mountain Division
- Ptl. Justin Eavey - LCpl in the USMC, Assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 25 with the 4th Marine Logistic Group from 2014-present
