West Caldwell Recognizes ‘National Nutrition Month’

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — March is officially “National Nutrition Month” in the town of West Caldwell.
Recently, West Caldwell Mayor Joe Tempesta presented ShopRite with a certificate declaring March as National Nutrition Month.
According to a news release from ShopRite, in-store dietitian Evelyn Minolfo accepted the proclamation on behalf of the store, along with Dara Sblendorio, president of Sunrise ShopRite locations in West Caldwell and Parsippany.

National Nutrition Month is an annual nutrition education and information campaign celebrated during the month of March that focuses on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits. In addition to partnering with dozens of government agencies to officially designate March as National Nutrition Mont, ShopRite’s dietitians will be hosting in-store and community events that will be held during the month-long celebration.
