West Caldwell ShopRite To Hold Free Health Event

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — The ShopRite of West Caldwell will hold a “Managing Your Health” event with free blood sugar and blood pressure screenings on Wednesday, May 1.

According to a news release from ShopRite, the event will take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 540 West Passaic Avenue. It will also include complimentary samples and educational information.

Additional free health screenings will be held on Thursday, May 2 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Event organizers wrote:

“ShopRite is partnering with the Caldwell University Nursing Program during the month of April and May to host free blood sugar and blood pressure screenings for store associates and customers. As part of the event, the dietitians will be teaching healthy menu planning and carbohydrate portion control for blood pressure and blood sugar control. The store anticipates more than 200 to 300 people will take place in the screenings during the event.”
