Woodmont Properties Announces Key Promotions and Continued Growth

Learning & Development Specialist highlights Woodmont's commitment to an internal culture of opportunity and organizational learning.

Woodmont Properties — a leading owner, developer, and manager of residential and commercial properties — today announced Meghann Belford’s elevation to a new position as the Learning & Development Specialist.

In this position, Belford will play a critical role in Woodmont’s career development which will cultivate growth and opportunities for advancement of its team members. Through organizational learning, Belford will be instrumental in the implementation of career development programs designed to provide the highest level of talent management and coaching across all positions within the company. Belford will report to Cynthia Gonzalez, Director of Human Resources, who will lead Woodmont’s commitment to learning and development of its team members.

Belford joined the Woodmont family in 2016 as the Floating Community Manager for the Property Management portfolio. After demonstrating a strong skill set for identifying and addressing operational areas of opportunity within the department, Belford was promoted to Regional Operations Manager. There she led her team in implementing and managing new initiatives, including several training programs for Property Management.


In her previous roles, Belford successfully enacted and facilitated the training program for the Revenue Management software and the Sales Instruction program. In 2018, Belford transitioned to Regional Community Manager, overseeing the Eastern Region, where she was responsible for the creation of three new positions and developing team members with new paths to career development.

Courtney Troka will step into Belford’s previous position as Regional Community Manager overseeing the East Region. Troka, who joined Woodmont Properties in 2016, served as Community Manager of Woodmont Place at Palmer and at Woodmont Valley in Lower Macungie. In 2020, she was promoted to Senior Community Manager, providing support across the portfolio.
Troka will be responsible for guiding her team through day-to-day building management, and resident relations, as well as ensuring successful lease-ups and continuing to manage the ongoing challenges presented by COVID-19.

In 2020, Woodmont announced numerous internal promotions, established several new positions, and hired over two dozen new team members.


Over the last several years, Woodmont Properties has successfully developed 21 new luxury multifamily communities, totaling 4,000 new residences throughout the northeastern corridor.
Since 2019, Woodmont Industrial Partners, Woodmont Properties’ industrial arm, has transacted on [four million] square feet of industrial space strategically located in several eastern intermodal markets. Woodmont Industrial intends to continue aggressively expanding its pipeline in the region by adding value-add opportunities and/or land for development in major transportation arenas.
