Art Camp Registration Happening Now In Chatham

Limited spots available in the art camp, for first through fifth graders, with three one-week sessions, beginning Monday, July 12.

CHATHAM, NJ — Refining their talents in animation, cartooning, painting, printmaking and drawing, are a few of the fun artistic techniques and activities kids in Chatham can learn more about during the Art With Mr. Hasegawa Summer Art Camp 2021.

Spots are limited per session to 12 campers weekly, with registration accepted in order of payments made.

Taking place at Chatham’s Milton Avenue School on 16 Milton Ave. with Art Teacher Kenji Hasegawa, camp convenes over three, one-week sessions, running Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 to 11:30 a.m. The first session takes place from Monday, July 12 through Friday, July 16; the second Monday, July 19 through Friday, July 23; and the third, Monday, July 26 through Friday, July 30.

Campers are asked to arrive daily by 8:45 a.m. for temperature checks and for parents to complete health forms each day. The camp will provide every student with their own art supplies to use. Though snacks will not be served, campers are permitted to carry in their own, nut-free snack and drink.

Weather-contingent, campers will head outdoors each day.

All campers will be required to wear a mask and socially distance while participating, per CDC guidelines. In the event that a quarantine is needed and camp shuts down for in-person sessions, the camp will be held virtually with Google Meet.

Each week is $395 per camper with payment made by check only to Art With Mr. H LLC, 94 Kew Dr., Springfield, NJ 07081.
