Chatham is Buzzing with Autumnal Events
A Halloween parade for youngsters will take place Saturday with prizes given out for the scariest, funniest and most creative costumes.

The crisp air, the changing leaves and the spooky theme that seems to be infecting stores and homes everywhere means fall is in full swing, and Chatham Township is excited about it.
There will be a series of events leading up to Halloween in the downtown area including parades, food and comics. The schedule for the events is as follows:
- Taste of Fall: The Chatham Downtown Alliance will host a tasty event featuring delicate fall dishes at T.M. Ward this Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The menu includes coffees, teas, curds, butter and more. T.M. Ward is located at 7 S. Passaic Ave.
- Halloween Parade: Take your little trick-or-treater to the front lawn of the Ogden Memorial Presbyterian Church this Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for a festive celebration. Prizes will be given to the scariest, funniest and most original costumes.
- Halloween ComicFest: Satellite Comics Games, located at 228 Main St., will be hosting an all-day comic event for some delicious nerdy-spooky fun. Those who take their photo with Batman will receive a free comic book.
- Demo Day: This follow-up to its ComicFest by Satellite Comics and Games will feature Larry Wickman and GameWick Games, with Wickman giving a demo of his games. Participants may sign up to play the game in-store with Wickman.
