Cases and Vaccinations
Twenty-seven Chatham Borough residents tested positive for COVID-19 from Jan. 8-14. The borough has reported 64 cases in 2021 and 309 since the pandemic began. Local officials have reported nine deaths from the virus.

Morris County officials have reported 26 new cases in Chatham Township since Jan. 8, bringing the town to 340 cases since the pandemic began. The county tallies don't include death tolls.
The New Jersey Department of Health has reported the following totals in Morris County as of Wednesday morning:

- 24,837 confirmed cases
- 3,884 probable cases
- 825 confirmed deaths
- 194 probable deaths
The state health department has logged 29,461 vaccine doses administered in Morris County — an increase of 10,306 in the past week. Morris County has an estimated population of 491,845, and the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines each require two doses per person.
