CHATHAM, NJ — Here are the latest coronavirus updates around Chatham.

Cases and Vaccinations

Chatham Township saw a new high for 2021 in coronavirus cases, with 33 new infections reported from March 12 to Monday. The township has seen 482 cases since the pandemic began, according to the Morris County Division of Public Health.

Chatham Borough, meanwhile, reported 18 new cases from March 12 to Thursday. The borough has tallied 202 cases in 2021 and 447 cases to date.

The New Jersey Department of Health reported the following for Morris County on Wednesday:

  • 166 new confirmed cases
  • 83 new probable cases
  • 36,619 confirmed cases since the onset of the pandemic
  • 6,632 total probable cases
  • 928 confirmed deaths
  • 240 probable deaths

State officials have tallied 271,785 vaccine doses administered in Morris County — an improvement of about 104,000 since Chatham Patch's last update March 4.
