CHATHAM, NJ — Here are the latest coronavirus updates around Chatham.

Cases and Vaccinations

Nine Chatham Borough residents tested positive for COVID-19 from Feb. 12 to Thursday. The borough has reported 157 cases in 2021 and 402 since the pandemic began. Ten borough residents have died from COVID-19, according to officials.

The Morris County Division of Public Health reported 15 new cases in Chatham Township from Feb. 9 to Friday. Officials have tallied 399 township cases. The county's public data doesn't include deaths by municipality.

The New Jersey Department of Health has reported the following totals in Morris County as of Friday:

  • 149 new confirmed cases Friday
  • 39 new probable cases
  • 30,787 total confirmed cases
  • 5,290 total confirmed cases
  • 878 confirmed deaths
  • 225 probable deaths

State health officials have logged 113,805 vaccine doses administered in Morris County as of Friday — an increase of about 32,000 since Chatham Patch's last update Feb. 10.
