Chatham Family Brings Christmas Classic To Life

CHATHAM, NJ - The McCarthy family of Chatham has joined with JamTheater Company this holiday season to bring the Christmas classic, 'The Velveteen Rabbit' to life.

This timeless tale tells the story of a child whose love brings a favorite toy to life. In her adventures, the stuffed rabbit learns about friendship and what it truly takes for a toy to become “real.”

This production stars eight-year-old Aubrey McCarthy, a third grader at Washington Avenue Schoo,l as well as her mother, Anne McCarthy. In addition, Aubrey's father Matt McCarthy is directing.

Show Dates are:

  • Dec. 13 at 7 p.m.
  • Dec. 14 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Dec. 15 at 3 p.m.

Jam Theater performs at the Investors Bank Theater at the Horseshoe Lake Complex, 72 Eyland Ave in Succasunna.
