Chatham Fire Department To Begin Christmas Tree Sales

The Chatham Volunteer Fire Department will continue its nearly 40-year tradition Friday.

CHATHAM, NJ — A nearly 40-year tradition will soon return. The Chatham Volunteer Fire Department will begin its annual Christmas tree sale Friday.

The sale opens from 12-6 p.m. Friday at the department's headquarters (495 River Rd.). After opening day, they will sell trees from 6-9 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekends. These hours are in effect until all trees get sold.

The fire department will have hundreds of trees in various sizes, along with pine ropings and decorated and undecorated wreaths. They will accept cash, checks and credit cards.

“You can buy a Christmas tree, have some festive fun, meet firefighters and local volunteers and support the Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department,” said CTVFD President John Robertson.
