Chatham High School Students to Perform 'Once Upon a Mattress' In March
The CHS cast will present the hilarious musical production on March 5 - 7. A special performance and dinner will be held for local seniors.

Get ready for the Chatham High School Spring Musical. On March 5 – 7 the CHS Theatre Department presents the hilarious Mary Rodgers andMarshall Barer musical comedy “Once Upon a Mattress.”
Performances are scheduled for Thursday, March 5 at 6 p.m.; Friday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 7 at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
This comic musical fable is adapted from the well-known fairy tale, “The Princess and the Pea.” Prince Dauntless is desperate to marry, but his overbearing mother, Queen Aggravain, has decreed that he may only marry a genuine princess who can pass the Queen’s arduous test.

Until that princess is found, no one else in the kingdom may marry! Full of humorous twist and turns, “Once Upon a Mattress” is a show that is certain to delight audiences of all ages!
Senior citizens may attend a free final dress rehearsal on Wednesday, March 4 at 3:30 p.m., and are cordially invited to stay for a complementary dinner immediately following the show.

Tickets are $10 for students and seniors, and $12 for adults. Advanced tickets will be sold online here starting Monday, Feb. 16. Tickets will also be sold at the door before each performance and at CHS in the main lobby starting Monday, March 2 - Friday, March 6 from 10:45-11:30 a.m. For more ticket information, e-mail: jhorowitz@chatham-nj.org .
