Chatham Resident Of Half A Century, Local Volunteer Dies At 78

CHATHAM, N.J. – The grass never grew under the feet of Patricia Hutchinson.

The former Chatham resident of more than 50 years died recently at the age of 78.

Hutchinson resided in Jupiter, Florida, at the time of her death, but was heavily involved in local and regional organizations in Morris County while living in Chatham.

Hutchinson was a member of Canoe Brook Country Club, Jonathans Landing in Jupiter, Florida; the Women’s Association at Morristown Medical Center; a Life Member of the Junior League of Morristown; National Society of the Colonial Dames of America; St. Paul’s Episcopal Church of Chatham; member of Church of the Good Shepherd in Jupiter, Florida; and a longtime member of the Seaside Park Yacht Club.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles; one son and one daughter; and six grandchildren.
