Chatham Road Paving Projects Commence: See What Roads

You may need to move your car if your street is on this list.

CHATHAM, NJ - Barring weather complications, Chatham Township is set to embark on a series of road improvements to kick off September.

Below is a preliminary schedule for milling and paving with more exact dates still to be set, according to officials. A notice will be placed in in the mailbox the evening prior to paving for those impacted.

Milling (Approximate Date):

  • Jenson Cowl: Tuesday, Sept. 3
  • Hickory Place: Tuesday, Sept. 3
  • Parkview Road: Tuesday, Sept. 3
  • Forest Street: Tuesday, Sept. 3
  • Yarmouth Road: Wednesday, Sept. 4
  • Falmouth Drive: Wednesday, Sept. 4
  • Lenape Trail: Wednesday, Sept. 4
  • Plymouth Road: Wednesday, Sept. 4
  • Mountain Ave (Bottom Hall): Thursday, Sept. 5
  • Woodlawn Drive (Cedar Lane to Long Hill Road): Thursday Sept. 5

Paving (Approximate Date):

  • Jenson Cowl: Monday, Sept. 9 through Thursday, Sept. 12
  • Loantaka Lane South: Monday, Sept. 9 through Thursday, Sept. 12
  • Hickory Place: Monday, Sept. 9 through Thursday, Sept. 12
  • Parkview Road: Monday, Sept. 9 through Thursday, Sept. 12
  • Forest Street: Monday, Sept. 9 through Thursday, Sept. 12
  • Yarmouth Road: Monday, Sept. 9 through Thursday, Sept. 12
  • Falmouth Drive: Monday, Sept. 9 through Thursday, Sept. 12
  • Lenape Trail: Monday, Sept. 9 through Thursday, Sept. 12
  • Plymouth Road: Monday, Sept. 9 through Thursday, Sept. 12
  • Mountain Ave (Bottom Hall): Monday, Sept. 9 through Thursday, Sept. 12
  • Woodlawn Drive (Cedar Lane to Long Hill Road): Monday, Sept. 9 through Thursday, Sept. 12

All vehicles must be removed from the road on days of milling and paving and while there will be access to driveways during road milling, temporary delays will occur while the road is being milled in front of an individuals property.

Officials noted if you need a vehicle on the paving dates you will have to move your car to another location prior to 7 a.m. and walk to your car. Newly paved road will not be able to be driven upon until cones are removed from the end of the road by authorized personnel.
