Chatham Schools Hosting Zoom Event On Current Drug Trends

The event for parents and guardians will take place April 21. Here's how to register.

CHATHAM, NJ — The School District of the Chathams will host a Zoom talk on current drug trends. The event for parents and guardians will take place at 7 p.m. April 21.

The program is part of the Parent Wellness Series, developed by the Consortium of school districts in Chatham, Berkeley Heights, Millburn, New Providence and Summit.

Jamie Carvalho, a local therapists specializing in substance-use disorders, will speak at the event. Carvhalo co-founded Cairn Psychotherapy Group in Florham Park.

Carvhalo will discuss current trends and updates in substance use among teens, adolescents and young adults, while explaining what participants should look out for in the coming months.
