Chatham Senior Center Receives New Flat Screen In Honor of 25 Years of Service to Local Seniors
The new 75-inch HDTV will help the center accommodate the very large crowd who attend weekly movies along with the DVD series program.

The Chatham Senior Center received a new 75” flat screen HDTV To honor the Senior Centers 25th Anniversary Year. The new TV was a gift from Chatham Jaycees and the St. Patrick’s Community 5k Race Committee.
On hand for the Feb. 6 presentation from the Chatham Jaycees were Mr. Bill Heap and Mr. Jim Connelly. Representing the St. Patrick’s Community 5K were Mrs. Karen Wittmer and Kevin Sullivan, Mayor of Chatham Township. Accepting the gift on behalf of the Senior Center were Executive Director Pam Mansfield and Program Director Gail Gannon.
Karen Wittmer speaking on behalf of both groups said the gift represents both the Jaycees continuing commitment to the community and is keeping within former St. Patrick’s Pastor Fr. Ed Hinds call of not being a community unto ourselves but to go out and serve the community at large.
