Chatham Students Star In Elf The Musical

CHATHAM, NJ - Jenna Hauser, Violet Entman, and Caroline High, all Chatham High School freshman, will perform in Elf the Musical presented by the Pixie Dust Players at the Union County Performing Arts Center, Hamilton Stage this weekend and next.

The show runs for two weeks starting Friday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. Other performances are set for Saturday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 15, at 2:00 p.m.

There are two casts of the show and Hauser, Entman, and High are performing in the Friday evening and Saturday matinee shows.

Hauser, Entman, and High are active in the performing arts programs at Chatham High School and in their surrounding communities, officials said.

Elf the Musical is based on the holiday film and follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity. Faced with the harsh realities that his father is on the naughty list and his half-brother does not even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.
