Chatham Twp Considering Shuttle Service To NJT Station

Make your voice heard by taking this survey.

CHATHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ — In an effort to address limited parking at train stations, Chatham Township is considering a private shuttle service to and from the station, and they're looking for your thoughts.

A brief survey, done in partnership with TransOptions, asks commuters 31 questions, including how they get to work, how often do they take the train, and what time trains do they take. The survey will be used to gauge commuter interest in a private shuttle service.

“In an effort to address the perennial parking issues Chatham Township residents face when trying to park at the Chatham Borough and Summit train stations, we are looking to solve for this issue by evaluating the interest for a commuter shuttle service. If residents are frustrated with always trying to find a parking spot, I ask that they take a moment to take this brief survey and share it with their neighbors and friends. This survey is yet another example of the Township Committee’s ongoing efforts to solve for problems and concerns facing our residents," township Mayor Curt Ritter said.
