Downed Tree, Wires Closes Fairmount Road In Chatham
Police are asking for motorists to follow the posted detour.
CHATHAM, NJ - A section of Fairmount Avenue is closed Tuesday due to a tree down across the roadway with possibly live wires, according to the Chatham Borough Police Department.
Police said the road is closed between Longwood Avenue and Fairview Avenue. Motorists are being asked to follow the posted detour noting that the roads may be slippery and to drive slowly.
