Downed Utility Pole Closes River Road In Chatham: Officials

CHATHAM, NJ - Monday night's rough weather has taken down utility poles causing the closure of River Road, according to officials.

The closure is at the intersection of River Road and Long Hill road and officials noted the thoroughfare is expected to remain closed for several hours.

JCP&L crews have been dispatched to the location and an estimated time of restoration is 11:30 p.m., according to the outage map.
