Hazardous Weather, 45 MPH Winds Forecast For Morris County
The National Weather Service has issued an alert for potentially strong thunderstorms Tuesday.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ - The National Weather Service has issued an alert for what could be the first significant thunderstorm of the spring season Tuesday.
The NWS has issued a hazardous weather outlook for northern and northwest New Jersey, encompassing Morris, Sussex, Warren and Hunterdon counties.
The forecast calls for a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon with wind gusts over 45 mph possible in the strongest storms. The risk of inclement weather is expected to last into Tuesday night, according to the NWS.
