Library of the Chathams Is Open for Visits by Appointment
In-Person Visits by Appointment Start on March 16

The Library Board of Trustees held a special meeting on March 15 to vote on whether to open the library to a limited number of patrons by appointment. The Board resolved to move to Phase 4 of the library’s reopening plan to allow the public to visit the library in person with restrictions. Patrons may now make a half-hour appointment to browse the library collections and use a computer, copy machine or fax machine.
Visitors will be required to follow safety procedures.
· The entrance will be through the rear entrance off the parking lot, and exit through the front doors on Main Street. Exception: patrons with mobility issues will be permitted to exit through the rear entrance, which has a ramp.
