Chatham Liquor Retailers Embrace “Keeping it Legal”

On Feb. 4, volunteers from the Madison Chatham Coalition (MCC), Municipal Alliance Committee of the Chathams (MACC), and other dedicated volunteers from Chatham Borough law enforcement and government as well as Madison Chatham Coalition Teen Task Force members, participated in a pre-Super Bowl Sticker Shock Campaign. Volunteers pasted bright green “keep it legal” stickers on cases of beer, ciders and coolers at Cottage Deli and Wine, Bottle King, and Hickory Wine Cellar.

Designed to deter the sale of alcoholic beverages by adults to underage kids, the campaign reminded patrons to “keep it legal,” and also reminded teens to make healthy choices, free from drugs and alcohol.
