Longtime Chatham Resident, Grandfather Dies At 79

CHATHAM, N.J. – Stewart Richter was successful both professionally and personally.

The longtime Chatham resident died recently at the age of 79 after a short illness.

Richter had a successful career in Commercial Insurance and loved playing tennis and paddle tennis, where he played in various leagues over the years and belonged to the Orange Lawn and Short Hills clubs.

Richter is survived by his former wife, Cynthia, one daughter, one son, and three grandchildren.
