Morris Co. Woman Wrote Bad Checks: Chatham Boro Police

CHATHAM, NJ - A 44-year-old Florham Park woman was arrested and charged with six counts of issuing bad checks, according to the Chatham Borough Police Department.

Authorities said the charges stemmed from an investigation that began on Aug. 7 when a Main Street business reported that Jane Huyler allegedly paid for items with checks knowing that there were insufficient funds in the account.

Shortly before 4 p.m. on Sept. 18 Detective Andrew Chase charged Huyler. She was served and given a court date to appear in court, police said.
