NJ Monthly Nominates 2 Chatham Restaurants For 'Best Of The Best'
Two Chatham eateries could win the grand prize in New Jersey Monthly's Jersey Choice Restaurant Poll, and you can help.

CHATHAM, NJ — Does Chatham have New Jersey's best restaurant? Two local eateries received nominations for New Jersey Monthly's 2021 Jersey Choice Restaurant Poll.
Sorriso Kitchen and Restaurant Serenade both have a shot to win the grand award, and the public can help. Use the drop-down menus to vote for your favorite New Jersey restaurants.
NJ Monthly has 45 categories in its Jersey Choice Restaurant Poll, and you'll find local choices in many. The voting deadline is Feb. 28. Choose your favorite or write in a restaurant in at least 10 categories to become eligible for the grand prize — dinner for two at the restaurant voted "best" in your region.

The Bellas family felt inspired to create Sorriso Kitchen because of their son, LJ, who has Down syndrome. They wanted to create a safe place where he could work and become a vibrant part of his community.

Before the coronavirus pandemic, Sorriso Kitchen provided weekly restaurant job training for young adults with special needs. They kept the restaurant closed Mondays for the program.
Restaurant Serenade features cuisine from acclaimed chef James Laird. Upon graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Laird traveled to Europe to hone his skills under renowned chefs, according to the restaurant's website.
