PHOTOS: Chatham Battles More Snow, Dangerous Wind Chills

Despite dangerous wind chills and temperatures plummeting to the lowest levels since 2004, residents and business owners in Chatham are still out and about, braving several new inches of snow and piles of snow drifts on local streets.

A “Wind Chill Advisory” is in effect from 4 p.m. Sunday until 11 a.m. Monday. A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chills, resulting in possible frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken, according to the National Weather Service.
