Spring Serenades To Begin At Chatham's Reasoner Park Gazebo

Chatham Borough recently redesigned the outdoor area with picnic tables in efforts to help local restaurants.

CHATHAM BOROUGH, NJ — Chatham Borough will bring some free entertainment to the Reasoner Park gazebo. Spring serenades will take place from 6-8 p.m. Thursdays through June.

The borough recently redesigned the area with six picnic tables and decorative lights, designed to create a pleasant environment for patrons getting takeout from local restaurants. Read more: Chatham Borough Redesigns Outdoor Area To Help Restaurants

Chatham Borough told people attending the spring serenades to follow social-distancing protocols. Masks are required except when eating. Bring a picnic blanket or lawn chair, or use the picnic tables. All ages are welcome.

The Raritan Valley Trombone Quartet will kick off performances from 6-8 p.m. Thursday. The group of professional and semi-professional trombone players is comprised of Jim Lutz, Tess Giardano, John Kalinowski and David Stankus. They play a variety of music, including classical, Americana, jazz, pop, movies and showtunes.
