Tour The Firehouse At Green Village In Chatham

It's nice to know the name of the person who might save your life one day.

Chatham residents will get the opportunity to meet their local firefighters during the Fire Prevention Week Open House at the Green Village Fire Department. The Green Village Fire Department is the primary fire responder for Chatham Township Fire District One and portions of Harding Township. Firefighters will not only be on hand to meet folks who come out, they'll also give fire safety tips and answer any questions people have about fire safety.

Attendees of the event, to be held on Sunday, October 9 between 1 PM and 3 PM, will also be able to participate in activities, get a tour of fire trucks and the firehouse, and chow down on burgers and ice cream, courtesy of the Fire Department and Auxiliary.
