Veterans' Stories Wanted For Chatham Library's Project
The request for stories and military relics for the Veterans Project of the Chathams officially begins on Memorial Day.

CHATHAM, NJ — The Library of the Chathams is looking for Chatham Borough or Township military veterans who would like to share their written, audio or video stories; or who could even donate military artifacts to the library, for the Veterans Project of the Chathams.
According to Robert Schriek, a spokesperson for the library, the request for these historically-significant items kicks off on Memorial Day, with both government bodies in Chatham Borough and Township having each declared the month of May, “Military Appreciation Month.”
“The Veterans Project committee members thought that the time between Memorial Day and Veterans Day would be a good time to request stories and raise awareness of our local veterans,” Schriek said.
